From T-shirt to tank

I bought this t-shirt to go to a protest, but the neck was too closed and the body too wide….

… after some cutting and some cuff, this is the result 🙂

De T-shirt a débardeur

J’ai acheté cet t-shirt par allé dans une manifestation, mais le cou était trop étroit et le corps très large…

…  après quelque coupe et un peux de bande rapprochée, cet ici est le résultat 🙂

Arranjant des pantoufles…

Ces pantoufles sont un des plusieurs cadeaux que ma fille a reçu pendant ces Fêtes de Noel. Ce sont jolies et elle les a aime beaucoup mais quand elle a essayer de marcher avec elles, on a vu que c’étaient trop grands et qu’elle n’était pas commode.

Aujourd’hui je les ai modifié un peux et je crois que maintenant elle marchera commodément avec elles.

J’ai cousu une bande élastique a la part intérieure, la ligne noire dans la photo, pour que la pantoufle soit plus étroite et elle se saisit mieux a la jambe. Aussi, j’ai décousu la ruban avec des lambeaux qui n’était qu’un ornement, et je lui ai trouvé une utilité. Maintenant je l’ai attaché a la part postérieure de la botte de manière qu’elle peut être attache autour de la cheville, tout en aidant a que la pantoufle ne se déplace pas.

Fixing a pair of slippers…

These slippers are one of the presents my daughter received during Christmas Holidays. They are pretty and she loved them, but once she tried them on.. she said she didn’t want them. We realized the problem was that the slippers were very loose and when she walked she was unsteady.

Today if made some arrangements and I think that now she will able to walk, and even, run with them!

I have sewn an elastic band on the inside, the black line on the photo, this way the slipper is narrower and its grab on the ankle is better. I have also unpick the ribbon with tassels, which was only decorative, and I picked it on the back of the boot, so it can be attached around the ankle, helping to steady the slipper.
