Cinnamon biscuits

This year my daughter is on the “chefs” class and this weekend she had some homework: prepare some food and then explain the receipt to the rest of her class.

She wanted to prepare some biscuits, so I search for ones that were easy to make…

By the way, the “chef” uniform is my own work, someday I will show it to you with more detail.

Receipt of cinnamon biscuits

Ingredients

  • 125g of sunflower oil
  • 125g of oat milk
  • 130g of dextrose
  • 1 egg
  • 480g of club wheat
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • cinnamon
  • chocolate

Preparation

First we mix the oil, milk, dextrose and the egg, and the we add the flour, the baking powder, the salt and the cinnamon. Once its all mixed we shape the biscuits and then we bake them for 10 minutes at 180ºC.

We have decorated some of the biscuits with chocolate and some others with sugar stars.

Biscuits de crème vegetal et blé hérisson

Nous avons préparé des biscuits une autre fois, cette fois je voulais tester les biscuits avec de la crème végétal…

J’ai suivi les instruction de cette  recette de Ma petite Boulangerie, plus ou moins, et le résultat à été très goutteux!!

Recette de biscuits de crème végétal

Ingrédients

  • 200 ml de crème végétal
  • 400g de blé hérisson
  • 100g de sucre brun
  • 1 cuillerée de bicarbonate
  • 1 œuf grand
  • chocolat noire pour décorer

Préparation

La préparation est très simple, on mélange tous les ingrédients avec le mixeur et tend la pâte entre deux lamines de plastic de cuisine. Alors on laise la pate reposer dans le frigo pendant un heure. Maintenant ne reste que couper les biscuits et les enfourner pendant 10 minutes a 190ºC.

On peut manger les biscuites comme ça ou les décorer avec du sucre, du chocolat… nous avons choisi le chocolat!!

Biscuits with vegetable cream and club wheat

Today we have baked some more biscuits, this time I wanted to test the results with vegetable cream…

Recipe of biscuits with vegetable cream

Ingredients

  • 200 ml of oat cream
  • 400g of club wheat
  • 100g of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate
  • 1 big egg
  • dark chocolate to decorate

Preparation

Preparation is very easy, you mix all the ingredients with the mixer, then you roll out the dought, and keep it on the fridge for an hour. Now you cut de dough and bake the biscuits for about 10 minutes at 190ºC.

You can eat the biscuits like this or decorate them with sugar, chocolate… we have chosen the chocolate!!

Club wheat biscuits, with almonds and chocolate drops

It’s been some time since we ate biscuits, so today I decided to make some. After some searching on my the list of recipes to test, I’ve decided to try this one of spelt biscuits with chocolate drops. As always, I have changed it a bit….

Recipe of club wheat biscuits with almonds and chocolate drops

Ingredients

  • 300 g of wheat club flour
  • 2 teaspoons of yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 100 g of chocolate drops
  • 70 g of almonds flour
  • 100 g of rice syrup
  • 100 ml of oat milk
  • 50 ml of olive oil

Preparation

I have placed all the ingredients, save the chocolate drops, on the thermomix and I have mixed them for a minute at speed 4. After adding  the chocolate I have mixed it again for 15 seconds.

Then, to form the biscuits I have placed spoons of dough on an oven pan, covered with baking paper, and I have baked it for 10 minutes at 180ºC.

Very tasty!!! There was non left for the afternoon snack!!!
